Preparing for the Weather on Your Wedding Day
Preparing for the weather for your wedding is generally not a problem with a Caribbean ceremony because 95% of the year, the days are warm and full of sunshine. Often couples plan a destination wedding location in order to be certain of beautiful, clear skies. While no location offers the certainty of an indoor wedding, Virgin Island weddings have the best chance of sunny, romantic weather for couples planning a destination wedding.
A beach wedding at any time of day is idyllic, however the most idyllic time is in the mornings between 9-10AM. At that time, the vibrant Caribbean aqua color of the water is at it’s peak. It’s also cooler and there are fewer people on the beach.
For sunset weddings, plan to have your marriage ceremony between 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours prior to sunset in order for your photographer and/or videographer to capture the best lighting and mood of your sunset wedding.
